Roles & job description

Real estate investing internship focused on commercial real estate deal sourcing and underwriting. Interns will gain hands-on experience in identifying high-potential investment opportunities, evaluating financials, and preparing acquisition packages for multifamily, industrial, and other commercial asset classes. This role is ideal for motivated veterans interested in transitioning into real estate private equity, brokerage, or asset management roles.Key responsibilities include:Sourcing real estate deals through broker relationships, off-market strategies, and online databases.Conducting market research and comparables analysis.Underwriting deals using Excel and proprietary modeling templates.Evaluating property financials including rent rolls, P&Ls, and capital expense plans.Preparing investment summaries and pitch decks for internal review.Supporting due diligence activities including site visits, vendor coordination, and document review.This internship prepares participants for careers in commercial real estate acquisitions, underwriting, brokerage, and investment analysis.Application must be approved before starting. Eligibility notes

1. Must be an active-duty U.S. service member eligible for the Department of Defense SkillBridge program2. Command approval for participation is required prior to start date3. Must be highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently4. Access to a personal computer with reliable internet is required5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications is expected6. Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills7. Familiarity with real estate investing is a plus but not required8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment9. Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision10. Have a great attitude, willing to learn new skills and be teachable!
