Real estate investing internship focused on commercial real estate deal sourcing and underwriting. Interns will gain hands-on experience in identifying high-potential investment opportunities, evaluating financials, and preparing acquisition packages for multifamily, industrial, and other commercial asset classes. This role is ideal for motivated veterans interested in transitioning into real estate private equity, brokerage, or asset management roles.Key responsibilities include:- Sourcing real estate deals through broker relationships, off-market strategies, and online databases.- Conducting market research and comparables analysis.- Underwriting deals using Excel and proprietary modeling templates.- Evaluating property financials including rent rolls, P&Ls, and capital expense plans.- Preparing investment summaries and pitch decks for internal review.- Supporting due diligence activities including site visits, vendor coordination, and document review.This internship prepares participants for careers in commercial real estate acquisitions, underwriting, brokerage, and investment analysis. Self-driven and highly motivated individuals preferred. Familiarity with real estate is a bonus but not required. Candidates must have access to a personal computer and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills, comfort with digital tools, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
