The Human Resource (HR) Recruiter SkillBridge role will support OKSI's HR team through hands-on experience across the full recruiting cycle, including conducting candidate interviews, sourcing and pipeline support, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date job postings in Paylocity and LinkedIn. This is a training-focused internship intended to build foundational HR and recruiting skills ahead of a possible transition into civilian HR work. Work is closely directed and reviewed by the HR Director.
As a SkillBridge participant, you will engage in a structured HR Recruiter training program, not an employment role. Under the guidance of an experienced mentor, you will receive exposure to job posting maintenance, candidate interviews, sourcing & pipeline support, interview coordination, hiring manager partnership, candidate communication, and administrative and compliance support. This training opportunity is designed to prepare participants for long-term success in HR recruiting and the defense industry, while supporting OKSI’s mission to develop and deliver intelligent systems and software that support the warfighter.
3F0X1, 3F5X1, 3F2X1, 42A, 42B, YN, PS, NC, 0111, 0170, and other personnel, human resources, administrative, training, program coordination, or business operations specialties with transferable experience.
• To have served at least 180 days in any of the U.S. Armed Forces • To be within 180 days of separation or retirement from any of the U.S. Armed Forces (please start your application prior to the 180 days) • Must be on track to receive an Honorable Discharge • Must have taken any service TAPS/TGPS • Must have command approval to participate in the DoW SkillBridge program
