Construction Project Manager
The Construction Manager SkillBridge Intern supports project leadership by learning how to oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold quality and safety standards across active construction sites. This role is ideal for transitioning service members with strong leadership backgrounds, operational planning experience, and an interest in managing complex construction projects from start to finish.Interns work directly with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field crews to understand project sequencing, cost control, documentation, and client communication.
Key responsibilities include: Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of daily and weekly project activities. Assist superintendents in managing jobsite operations, subcontractors, and workflow. Help verify installation standards, review workmanship, and document deficiencies. Participate in safety meetings, enforce site safety protocols, and support hazard mitigation. Contribute to daily logs, RFIs, submittals, progress photos, and schedule updates. Assist with procurement tracking, delivery coordination, and equipment scheduling. Support project managers in preparing updates, reports, and meeting notes. Help identify issues early and collaborate with leadership to maintain project momentum.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Strong communication, organization, and situational awareness. Leadership experience in operations, logistics, mission planning, or team management. Ability to read or learn to read construction drawings, scopes, and specifications. Commitment to safety, disciplined execution, and high-quality standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Experience in engineering, facilities, logistics, or technical operations. Exposure to construction, project management, or maintenance environments. Familiarity with scheduling tools or project management software. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification are not required but preferred.
Our office is located in Littleton, Colorado. Participants may visit job sites in the Denver Metro Area during the scope of their program.
