Information Technology Intern
The University of Mississippi's Skillbridge internship program is designed to facilitate transitional skills development for Service Members retiring or separating from active-duty military service, through training, experiential learning and networking opportunities with the ultimate goal of facilitating meaningful post-service employment opportunities.All internship training and activities will be OJT in support of the listed learning objectives.University Orientation & Customer Service; Understand university culture, customer service expectations, IT organizationHelp Desk & ITIL Fundamentals; Ticket management, communication skills, incident managementEndpoint Support I; Hardware installation, imaging, deployment, asset managementEndpoint Support II; Microsoft Intune, device security, troubleshooting Windows & macOSClassroom Technology I; Classroom AV systems, projectors, displays, instructor stationsClassroom Technology II; HyFlex classrooms, Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, lecture captureNetworking Fundamentals; TCP/IP, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling, network troubleshootingNetwork Operations; Monitoring tools, wireless support, VoIP basics, infrastructure tours

Intern participating in internship must be prepared for in-person, daily OJT designed to meet learning objectives.
