Information technology intern will gain experience in a university operational and classroom setting displaying understanding of systems and support for both organizational enterprises and education delivery systems and personnel.
All internship training and activities will be performed in support of the listed learning objectives. University Orientation & Customer Service; Understand university culture, customer service expectations, IT organization Help Desk & ITIL Fundamentals; Ticket management, communication skills, incident management Endpoint Support I; Hardware installation, imaging, deployment, asset management Endpoint Support II; Microsoft Intune, device security, troubleshooting Windows & macOS Classroom Technology I; Classroom AV systems, projectors, displays, instructor stations Classroom Technology II; HyFlex classrooms, Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, lecture capture Networking Fundamentals; TCP/IP, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling, network troubleshooting Network Operations; Monitoring tools, wireless support, VoIP basics, infrastructure tours
