Software Test Internship Program - Job Training Program
The .NET Software Test Engineer will contribute to TalentGuard’s mission by enhancing our software quality through automated and manual testing strategies.
Responsibilities:• Use the latest test automation tools/technologies such as Katalon and Selenium to build an automation framework that drives end-to-end product test coverage.• Work with your Scrum team to develop and automate test cases in a primarily C#/.Net environment for our applications to ensure what we build meets the highest levels of quality• Play a role in the entire development process, participating in a continuous flow of planning, design, test development and execution, data and system analysis and communication of test results• Participate in all Scrum activities, perform code reviews, contribute to a high performing, growing teamRequired Qualifications:• A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience• Technical Competency with web and API software testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, or other similar tools• Experience developing and designing tests for SaaS and/or Service Oriented Architectures• Experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS and C#• Experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and how to ensure quality within such environments• Experience testing responsive applications• Experiencing developing test plans for different levels of test (unit, integration, performance, UI/UX, etc) across a platform and how to best apply the different types of tests• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment• Experience working with distributed version control systems such as TFS, Git, or othersDesired Qualifications:• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• A willingness to identify, own, and solve problems independently and as part of a team• The ability and willingness to adapt to an evolving and growing software development team• A positive approach to addressing issues• A collaborative approach to work and are eager to work as part of a team• The belief that everyone participates in ensuring quality• Curiosity; you are willing to ask questions and apply critical thinking• An open mind, always willing to look at things from another perspective and are open to other points of view• Pride in high quality software
