S2RC is seeking motivated transitioning service members to join our team as Safety Specialists through the DoD SkillBridge Program. This role provides hands-on experience in safety program development, training delivery, and compliance management, with a focus on defense and industrial environments. The Safety Specialist will support S2RC’s Safety Services practice, working alongside senior safety engineers, trainers, and program managers to enhance workplace safety and deliver advanced training solutions to government and industry clients.
ResponsibilitiesSafety Program Support: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs aligned with OSHA, DoD, and industry standards.Training Delivery: Support the design and delivery of safety training, including immersive AR/VR-based modules for high-risk environments (e.g., arc flash, confined spaces, fall protection).Compliance Monitoring: Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and client-specific requirements.Incident Analysis: Support root cause analysis and after-action reviews for workplace incidents, helping to develop corrective action plans.Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to provide safety briefings, training support, and technical assistance.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare safety reports, maintain training records, and track compliance metrics using S2RC’s safety management systems.Industry Integration: Participate in client site visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed to promote S2RC’s safety solutions and services.
