Smith Trucking Company Inc. - Job Training Program
Smith Trucking Company Inc. is looking for individuals with experience as a mechanic to train and hire to become heavy equipment mechanics for our company. Participants will have tuition to Penn Foster's online Diesel Mechanic program fully paid for. In addition to the online classes, participants will be given hands-on experience working on a variety of diesel trucks and equipment.
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic role will be working with the mechanic team. Their main objective and responsibility is to ensure that all of our vehicles and equipment is properly maintained, and that any equipment or vehicle that breaks down is repaired in a timely manner.
Any role that involved performing in-depth maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and/or vehicles would be best suited to fill this position.
