Skyfire AI Corp Fellowship
The SkillBridge Fellow will support Skyfire AI in the development, testing, and refinement of AI‑enabled capabilities supporting defense and public‑sector missions. This role is designed for individuals with prior experience in startup or small‑team environments, small UAS (sUAS) operations, and defense test and acquisition processes, who can effectively translate operational end‑user needs into technical and programmatic outcomes.
Core Responsibilities-Support AI‑enabled projects with defense and public‑sector relevance-Operate within lean, fast‑moving startup teams to iterate on mission‑driven solutions-Integrate operational and end‑user requirements into development and testing efforts-Assist with testing, evaluation, and user feedback activities-Contribute to technical documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communicationPreferred Background-Prior experience in a startup or small business environment-Familiarity with small UAS platforms, operations, or testing-Working knowledge of DoD test, experimentation, and acquisition pathways-Experience engaging with operational end users and mission stakeholdersAbility to work independently in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
