Program summary

RapidAscent offers a hands on training program that provides for job readiness in the cybersecurity workforce. The program is divided into 4 sections designed to introduce fundamental concepts and technologies, complete operational, on-the-job cybersecurity tasks, meet risk and compliance requirements by security applications and systems, and prepare for industry-leading certifications. The program has live instruction and coaching, labs, individual and collaborative projects, and self directed components. From your military experience, you will bring Leadership, Adaptability, Focus, and Discipline, when coupled with the knowledge and skill that this program will provide, you will be well prepared for security roles in the IT world.

Roles & job description

Cybersecurity analysts and engineers identify threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, and then apply their skills to resolve these situations. In developing and implementing high tech solutions to defend against hacking, malware, ransomware, insider threats, and other cybercrimes, they function as key team members in the creation and execution of security policies and procedures.
