Custom Carpentry - Job Training Program
Entry-level position offering an exciting opportunity to learn and develop skills in the art of custom woodworking. The Apprentice Carpenter will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, gaining hands-on experience in crafting custom woodwork pieces, from Shadowboxes, awards, to Furniture and decor. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for woodworking and a desire to pursue a career in this specialized field.
The Carpenters Apprentice is in the initial stages of learning and training of the carpentry trade. Typically, they work under the guidance and supervision of experienced carpenters, gaining practical skills and knowledge through hands-on experience and formal instruction. Their responsibilities may include assisting the Master Carpenter, learning carpentry techniques, maintaining tools and equipment, following safety protocols, and communicating with others.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
This person should be physically able to lift lumber, have precise attention to detail, be safety conscious, and possess a motivation and willingness to learn.
Located in Middleburg, FL, 15 Minutes North of Camp Blanding, 30 Minutes Southwest of NAS Jacksonville, 1 Hour Southwest of NS Mayport and 1.5 Hours Southwest of NSB Kings Bay.
