Special Security Representative

Supports security operations and the protection of personnel, facilities, information, systems, programs, and other organizational assets. Work includes access control, security documentation, compliance, information protection, personnel security, physical security, and coordination with staff and government partners to ensure applicable security requirements are followed.

Supports security programs and activities designed to protect classified and sensitive information, personnel, facilities, systems, programs, and organizational assets. Responsibilities may include processing and verifying access requirements, maintaining security records and documentation, supporting briefings and debriefings, coordinating visits and access, assisting with security reviews and inspections, and monitoring compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Works with security personnel, technical staff, program leadership, and government counterparts to identify and resolve security concerns, maintain accurate records, and ensure security requirements are properly implemented and followed.
