Supports the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of Laboratory facilities and infrastructure. Work includes building systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, work management, documentation, and coordination with Facilities staff, customers, contractors, and engineers to support Laboratory operations and the R&D mission.
Supports facility operations, maintenance, and infrastructure activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations. Performs inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, system testing, and work-order activities involving building systems, utilities, equipment, and mechanical or electrical infrastructure. Uses appropriate tools, equipment, technical documentation, and safety procedures to identify and resolve facility-related issues. Coordinates with Facilities staff, engineers, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders to complete assigned work while maintaining safety, quality, organization, and accurate documentation.
