Install internal and external trash chute systems in new and existing structures; Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on trash compactors and balers; Interpret drawings, measurements, and site conditions to ensure accurate installation; Conduct inspections to verify system performance, structural integrity, and safety compliance; Diagnose mechanical or installation deficiencies and execute corrective actions; Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, serviceable condition; Document work performed, parts used, and service outcomes accurately; Coordinate with project leads and team members to meet schedules and quality standards; Communicate professionally with clients and site personnel when required.

As an Installation and Repair Technician for TKO EnviroSolutions Group, you will execute installation, maintenance, and repair of trash chute systems, compactors, and balers at a variety of locations. You are responsible for ensuring all equipment is installed, serviced, and functioning according to company standards, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications. This role requires the ability to operate independently on assigned tasks or collaboratively as part of a crew, depending on project scope, timelines, and operational demands. Technicians serve as field representatives of TKO, maintaining professionalism, workmanship quality, and jobsite safety at all times.

TKO EnviroSolutions Group offers valuable training and career opportunities to service members transitioning to civilian life. This program provides service members in their final 151–180 days of service with hands-on civilian work experience while they continue receiving military compensation and benefits. Our SkillBridge is structured for durations up to 180 days; however, shorter timeframes may be approved on a case-by-case basis to ensure opportunities remain available to those whose remaining service time is limited due to rank/rate. We are a niche construction company specializing in the installation of internal and external trash chutes in both new construction and existing buildings, with planned expansion into the sale and maintenance of trash compactors and balers. Due to the size and scope of TKO EnviroSolutions Group, customer service, quality control management, and installation technicians require all SkillBridge participants to be willing and capable of performing duties across all areas. The trash chutes handled range from 24–30 inches in diameter and 24–60 inches in length, weighing approximately 30–135 pounds. This SkillBridge presents a strong opportunity for any service member who applies and is accepted as our system will provide you schedule flexibility and one on one learning opportunities with the owner and/or management.

No prerequisite eligibility requirements, however experience in the following are positively viewed: Experience in construction, mechanical installation, equipment repair, or related field preferred; Strong communication and organizational skills; Ability to understand technical plans, measurements, and installation requirements; Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively; Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capability in field conditions; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team; Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship standards; Physical ability to lift 30–135 lbs and work in construction environments; Willingness to travel to job sites as required; Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and PPE usage preferred.-MOU established with local trades and union to better assist the member upon SB completion.-Housing not provided at location-We at TKO understand that the different branches of service authorize varying durations or timeframes for SB and are willing to adjust the duration and hours for training depending on individual circumstances.-All applications will be reviewed, and a subsequent meeting will be scheduled for potential acceptance either in-person or web application.
