Installation and Repair Technician
Install internal and external trash chute systems in new and existing structures; Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on trash compactors and balers; Interpret drawings, measurements, and site conditions to ensure accurate installation; Conduct inspections to verify system performance, structural integrity, and safety compliance; Diagnose mechanical or installation deficiencies and execute corrective actions; Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, serviceable condition; Document work performed, parts used, and service outcomes accurately; Coordinate with project leads and team members to meet schedules and quality standards; Communicate professionally with clients and site personnel when required.
As an Installation and Repair Technician for TKO EnviroSolutions Group, you will execute installation, maintenance, and repair of trash chute systems, compactors, and balers at a variety of locations. You are responsible for ensuring all equipment is installed, serviced, and functioning according to company standards, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications. This role requires the ability to operate independently on assigned tasks or collaboratively as part of a crew, depending on project scope, timelines, and operational demands. Technicians serve as field representatives of TKO, maintaining professionalism, workmanship quality, and jobsite safety at all times.
No prerequisite eligibility requirements, however experience in the following are positively viewed: Experience in construction, mechanical installation, equipment repair, or related field preferred; Strong communication and organizational skills; Ability to understand technical plans, measurements, and installation requirements; Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively; Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capability in field conditions; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team; Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship standards; Physical ability to lift 30–135 lbs and work in construction environments; Willingness to travel to job sites as required; Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and PPE usage preferred.
