Program Manager
The Program Manager (Senior Manager Level) is a DoD SkillBridge opportunity is designed for transitioning service members who are ready to translate military leadership, mission execution, operational planning, logistics, readiness, and resource stewardship into civilian program management. The participant gains structured, hands-on experience supporting measurable mission outcomes, compliant contract performance, predictable financial results, client trust, employee readiness, and profitable growth. The role integrates scope, schedule, cost, quality, staffing, risk, issues, stakeholders, subcontractors, and communications across assigned programs or workstreams.
Program Manager (Senior Manager Level) Service members will work for a 6-month DoD SkillBridge internship designed to develop civilian Program Management leadership skills through hands-on, on-the-job training. Participants will work alongside experienced leaders to gain exposure to program operations, client management, financial performance, workforce leadership, risk management, and government contracting environments. Key learning areas include program and operational leadership, client and stakeholder engagement, financial and performance management, risk, quality, and compliance oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership and workforce development.
Participants must be willing to travel extensively, up to 90%, to gain hands-on experience supporting program operations and client initiatives nationwide.
