Program Manager
The Program Manager-Manager Level DoD SkillBridge opportunity is designed for transitioning service members who are ready to translate military leadership, mission execution, operational planning, logistics, readiness, and resource stewardship into civilian program management. The participant gains structured, hands-on experience supporting measurable mission outcomes, compliant contract performance, predictable financial results, client trust, employee readiness, and profitable growth. The role integrates scope, schedule, cost, quality, staffing, risk, issues, stakeholders, subcontractors, and communications across assigned programs or workstreams.
Placement at the Manager level is appropriate for candidates with experience leading defined missions, projects, teams, work centers, operational functions, or comparable workstreams. Final placement is based on demonstrated transferable capability, sustained military and professional performance, complexity of prior assignments, span of responsibility, leadership impact, and business need. Participation is subject to service-specific SkillBridge eligibility and command approval.
Participants must be willing to travel extensively, up to 90%, to gain hands-on experience supporting program operations and client initiatives nationwide.
