Largo Police Department
The goal of this internship is to provide the DoD SkillBridge Intern with the training necessary tosuccessfully graduate into a role with the Largo Police Department in the Law Enforcement Profession.By leveraging the interns experience and the Largo Police Department training, a career with thedepartment could begin as soon as the intern departs active duty.
Largo Police Officers are responsible for a range of duties including enforcing laws, protecting life and property, and maintaining law and order. They respond to calls for service, investigate crimes, and work to prevent criminal activity. Specific tasks include traffic patrol, conducting investigations, administering first aid, and appearing in court. The department also emphasizes community engagement and problem-solving.
Prior to acceptance applicants will need to be able to successfully complete a level 2 background check with the Largo Police Department.
