Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, actively welcomes transitioning service members to participate in internship opportunities. Interns will receive training on managing service/maintenance operations for Komatsu equipment and will be evaluated for nationwide full-time positions. Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval. Potential full-time job nationwide opportunities include Service Planners, Service Supervisors and Service Managers. Komatsu will provide trainees with transportation to internship location, lodging and meals. Upon receipt of the email, a Komatsu military veteran will contact you to discuss potential opportunities.
Service Managers oversee shop/field services, maintenance and repair of Komatsu construction/mining equipment, including electric drive trucks, electric shovels, and excavators. Through our SkillBridge Service Management program, Komatsu is assessing interns for potential full-time positions as Service Planners, Service Supervisors and Service Managers. Interns will receive training on maintenance of Komatsu equipment, shop processes, field maintenance operations, parts/warehouse operations, strategic planning and financial/human resources management.
Maintenance and trades related MOCs (Warrant Officers and Senior NCOs preferred)
Demonstrated experience managing military maintenance operations / programs
