Jaco Aerospace Inc. - Internship

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and highly organized Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships, monitor on-time delivery performance, oversee quality documentation and certification requirements, and coordinate order expediting and follow-up activities.In this role, you will help ensure our customers receive high-quality products and reliable, timely service. Key responsibilities include following established procurement procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of current and upcoming purchase orders, proactively resolving supplier and delivery issues, and building strong, productive relationships with our supplier partners.

Key Responsibilities1. Build & Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Develop productive, long-term partnerships with suppliers through regular communication and proactive engagement. Clearly communicate Jaco Aerospace’s expectations, requirements, and performance standards. Support contract and commercial-term negotiations to advance company objectives.2. Manage On-Time Delivery (OTD): Monitor, track, and analyze supplier on-time delivery performance. Work closely with suppliers to maintain delivery commitments, identify potential disruptions, and resolve delays before they affect customers or internal operations.3. Confirm that suppliers maintain the certifications, documentation, and quality standards required by Jaco Aerospace and the aerospace industry. Address compliance issues promptly, coordinate corrective actions, and resolve documentation discrepancies in partnership with suppliers and internal quality teams.4. Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure products ship on schedule and meet customer and operational deadlines. Expedite critical orders when necessary, maintain clear communication with suppliers, and provide internal teams with timely updates regarding shipment status, schedule changes, and potential delays.What This Role Offers: Jaco Aerospace has a strong track record of helping SkillBridge participants transition into successful, long-term careers with our company.
