Jaco Aerospace has distributed products to the aerospace and defense industry since 1971 and we are an AS9120B-accredited distributor. In 2024, Northrop Grumman named us Supplier of the Year. We supply Aerospace products to customers across the aerospace, defense, and space sectors, competing on accurate data, reliable logistics, and documentation that holds up to audit.The RoleWe are seeking a tech-savvy and ambitious professional with a curiosity in aerospace and defense to join us as an Aerospace Sourcing and Account Manager.In this role, you will source and quote aerospace and aviation products for our existing customer base, working directly in our proprietary sourcing platform. You will be the primary point of contact for the accounts you manage, and your objective is to grow those accounts by earning more of their business over time.This is a technology-driven role. Sourcing, quoting, and customer records all live in software, and the volume of work depends on how efficiently you use it. We are looking for someone who picks up new systems quickly, works comfortably in a CRM and across multiple databases at once, and is willing to learn our proprietary tools in depth rather than working around them.Most people who start with us stay with us. We hire to keep, and the large majority of candidates who come through this role go on to long-term employment at Jaco Aerospace.

Customer and RFQ management- Qualify inbound inquiries to confirm the prospect fits the products we carry.- Establish each customer's timeline early so RFQs are worked in order of actual urgency rather than order of arrival.- Manage RFQs (Request For Quote), responding accurately and on time.- Enter RFQs correctly the first time. Entry errors carry through to the quote and the order.- Provide firm pricing and delivery estimates through our quoting system.- Apply pricing consistently, so the same customer receives the same price for the same product.- Move quickly on straightforward opportunities and follow up on open RFQs without prompting.- Oversee orders through fulfillment and route customer feedback to the appropriate department.- Communicate with customers directly by phone and email.Sourcing and Supplier Management- Use our proprietary platform to source and quote aerospace, aviation, and space products.- Identify and qualify new suppliers to broaden what we can offer.- Maintain active contact with primary vendor contacts for sourcing and coordination.- Negotiate pricing and lead times; verify quality requirements with new and existing suppliers.- Build durable relationships on both sides of the transaction - customers and suppliers.
