Jaco Aerospace has supplied the aerospace and defense industry since 1971. We distribute the parts and materials customers use to build and maintain aircraft, defense systems, and spacecraft, and we handle the supply chain work that goes with it. We're an AS9120B-certified distributor and were among the first in our field to meet CMMC cybersecurity requirements - meaning orders arrive with the documentation and traceability the program requires, and customer data stays protected. In 2024, Northrop Grumman named us a Supplier of the Year.The work matters for a simple reason. Somebody is waiting on that part - a maintainer with an aircraft down, a program with a deadline. Get them the right part, with the right pedigree, on the day they need it, and the flying public and the warfighter stay safe and mission-ready.

The Business Development Associate will support Jaco Aerospace’s continued growth. Increase revenue by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing aerospace customers. The Business Development Associate will support Jaco Aerospace’s continued growth. Through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts within the aerospace sector. The role centers on consistent daily outreach, disciplined opportunity management, and close coordination with Sales, Procurement, and leadership. Success is measured by pipeline growth and conversion performance.ResponsibilitiesAccount Management. Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts to understand customer requirements, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to expand account value. Participate in customer site visits as required.Business Development. Identify prospective aerospace customers and initiate contact to introduce Jaco Aerospace's capabilities. Sources include direct outreach, referrals, professional networking, and digital engagement through platforms such as LinkedIn.CRM Administration. Record all outreach activity, opportunity stages, and customer responses in Salesforce. Accurate, current CRM data is essential for forecasting and pipeline management.Performance Reporting. Track and report key performance indicators, including lead dwell time, outreach-to-RFQ conversion rate, and customer engagement metrics. Provide regular updates to leadership.Sales Execution. Meet established daily outreach and engagement targets. Support the quoting process and follow up on open opportunities through to resolution.Cross-Functional Coordination. Work with Procurement and Sales to ensure consistent messaging of company capabilities and a clean handoff from qualified lead to order.Market Intelligence. Monitor industry developments and competitor activity, and communicate relevant findings to the team.
