Program summary

Our Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Career Readiness Program helps participants build real-world cybersecurity knowledge while preparing them for the job market. Participants gain hands-on exposure to security monitoring, threat detection, and incident analysis within a guided SOC environment.A SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring the company's systems. They also monitor network activity and ensure that no suspicious activities are happening. The SOC Analyst also works with other departments of the company, such as human resources or sales, to ensure that their systems are secure. An SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents in real time. They work within a SOC team to ensure an organization's IT infrastructure remains secure by proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.Beyond technical skills, we provide career readiness training to help participants confidently pursue cybersecurity roles. This includes resume reviews, interview coaching, LinkedIn profile optimization, and guidance on navigating the cybersecurity hiring process.

Required Skills:-Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and attack techniques.-Experience with SIEM tools, Knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.-Familiarity with security frameworks.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 SOC environment.Job Type: Full-Time Working Settings: Hybrid Qualifications:-Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.-Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn more about Security Operations.-Basic knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security tools.-Familiarity with security concepts like incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management is a plus.-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.-Familiarity with common operating systems (Linux, Windows) and security software is a plus.What We Offer:-Hands-on experience working with cutting-edge security technologies.-Mentorship from experienced cybersecurity professionals.-A collaborative and supportive work environment.-The opportunity to grow your skills and kick-start your career in cybersecurity.
