Consultative Sales & Business Automation - Internship
The Solutions Expert Career Readiness Program is a work-based fellowship designed to provide transitioning service members with hands-on experience in consultative sales, business diagnostics, CRM systems, and automation-enabled operations. Participants operate in supervised, real-world business environments while developing the skills required to diagnose operational challenges and recommend scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
As a Solutions Expert Fellow, you will train to master a "diagnosis-first" sales methodology, moving beyond transactional selling to build relationship-based business solutions. Working alongside senior leadership in a supervised environment, you will learn to conduct deep-dive discovery calls that uncover client operational inefficiencies and propose tailored digital packages—such as SEO, automation, and virtual assistant services—that directly solve pain points. Your training will cover the full lifecycle of a deal, requiring you to actively manage a dynamic pipeline of prospective clients, apply forecasting techniques, and use data-driven insights to prioritize high-value opportunities. In addition to sales strategy, you will develop high-demand technical competencies by leveraging CRM software (Customer Relationship Management), AI tools, and digital workflow automation to scale business operations. You will execute specific campaigns to re-engage dormant leads, launch new market verticals, and drive revenue growth. We are seeking active duty service members with a "mission-first" mindset who identify gaps and fill them without waiting for orders. Ideal candidates possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are capable of commanding a professional engagement with confidence, and demonstrate a strong aptitude for quickly learning new software and digital tools.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
