Marine Systems teaches students the skills, techniques, and problem-solving required to be a marine systems technician. The program offers training in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard systems - and can be applied to sail and power boats (both classic and modern). Marine systems also includes an externship component, in which the student applies what they've learned in the classroom to a work setting - typically with an outside company.
Students graduate from the program with the skills to find entry to mid-level positions in boatyards, marinas, or other marine-related businesses.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
