ICS SkillBridge - Job Training Program
The Talent Acquisition Candidate Support Specialist develops expertise in recruiting operations including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and talent pipeline management within a government contracting environment. This role provides hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn sourcing, and compliance requirements while supporting ICS recruiting objectives. The position offers comprehensive training in talent acquisition fundamentals with specialized focus on veteran recruitment and military skills translation.
This position will support talent acquisition operations through a structured 90-day training program. This role involves sourcing potential candidates through different recruiting platforms, analyzing resumes, and collaborating with the recruiting and operations team to achieve hiring objectives. Participants will develop technical expertise in applicant tracking systems, advanced Boolean search techniques, and candidate engagement strategies while gaining knowledge in talent mapping, market research, and recruiting compliance. The program emphasizes practical application through real-world assignments, shadowing experienced recruiters, and includes completion of Veterans at Work certification with exposure to professional recruiting certification concepts. This position requires availability during standard business hours, preparing participants for civilian talent acquisition roles.
