Commercial Concrete Field Engineer
Innovative Concrete, LLC is excited to announce a unique opportunity for military personnel transitioning to civilian life through the DoD SkillBridge program as a Commercial Concrete Field Engineer in North Dakota. This position allows candidates to leverage their military training and experience to gain valuable skills in the concrete and construction industry while supporting our Innovative projects.As a Concrete Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of concrete projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, managing quality control measures, and liaising between project managers and field teams. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete materials and construction practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:-Assist in managing daily operations of concrete projects at various job sites.-Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.-Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.-Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to verify the integrity of materials and workmanship.-Communicate project progress and challenges with stakeholders and team members.-Assist in the training and development of crew members on best practices and safety measures.-Prepare project reports, including documentation of materials used, labor costs, and safety compliance.Qualifications:-Must be transitioning military personnel eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.-Must receive commanding officer approval to participate-Understanding of construction principles, particularly in concrete work.-Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams.-Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.-Experience in project management or a related field is a plus.-Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.-Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
