Education Intern
Fork Union Military Academy offers a structured Department of Defense SkillBridge internship opportunity focused on education, leadership development, mentoring, coaching, and institutional operations within a military-structured academic environment.
Participants engage in supervised career skills training through observation, mentorship, guided practice, and hands-on learning experiences within an educational and leadership-focused environment. Training opportunities may include leadership development, mentoring, educational support activities, organizational operations exposure, coaching, communication development, teamwork, and professional workplace skills.This internship is instructional and training-focused in nature and does not replace or supplement paid staff positions.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Participants must meet all Department of Defense SkillBridge eligibility requirements, obtain command approval prior to participation, and successfully complete all required background screening processes applicable to working within a school environment.
Participants remain on active-duty status and continue receiving military pay and benefits through their respective branch of service during program participation.
