Home Inspection - To provide the necessary training, education and experience needed to become a qualified, certified, licensed property inspector who will gain the competency, skillset and confidence to provide residential and commercial inspection services.
A home inspector thoroughly examines residential properties, both inside and out, to identify potential defects or issues with major systems like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural components, and exterior features, documenting their findings in a detailed report for potential buyers, ensuring they are aware of any necessary repairs or maintenance needs before purchasing a home
strong communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of various home systems like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, attention to detail, the ability to identify potential problems, physical stamina for thorough inspections, and excellent report writing skills to clearly document findings
This apprentiship program will provide ALL the necessary training, education and experience needed to become a qualified, certified, licensed VA property inspector who will gain the competency, skillset and confidence to provide residential and commercial inspection services.Course Materials (provided):The Home Reference Book, Nachi Membership, Spectora home inspection software, 12 weeks of clasroom and OJT, 24 Weeks of mentorship with a vetern inspector, Preparation for sitting the National Home Inspection Exam (NHIE). VA DPOR approved training prerequisites for Home Inspector with NRS designation.
