Logistics Safety & Continuous Improvement
This course provides professional training in OSHA Safety Compliance, Forklift Operations and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt provide a strong foundation for a career in logistics and supply chain management. Designed for transitioning service members and professional seeking leadership roles, the curriculum covers material handling, warehousing, inventory control, operations management, and strategic movement of goods from raw material sources to end consumers. Participants will gain specialized expertise in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) framework, focusing on the SMAIC process to driver operational efficiency, alongside the OSHA 30-General Industry standards for advanced hazard recognition and safety supervision. Additionally, the course provides technical instruction on the operation and maintenance of industrial forklift (seated and standing), including design, instrumentation, pre-use inspection and stability.
An individual with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 30 General, and Forklift certifications may enter employment opportunities as a Logistics Operations & Safety Lead, a position critical to streamlining material handling and protecting warehouse personnel.
