Program summary

A member of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Logistics team supports CISAs efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure. Students will learn the centralized logistics programs that support a diverse mission and workforce that spans the entire nation.

Roles & job description

There are two vacancies for this role. This role is located the in Arlington/Ballston/NCR. You will be joining Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA)/Cyber Security Division (CSD)/Vulnerability Management (VM) Sub-Division/ Attack Surface Evaluation (ASE) Branch as a member of the Automated Testing Capability Section supporting the Attack Surface Management effort. This team supports CISA’s efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber infrastructure. The service member will participate in a minimum of a 180-day program where they will help enhance current customer support processes. Additionally, they will gain hands-on experience with general cybersecurity practices, supporting project management, and communication skills.

Eligibility notes

There are two vacancies for this role. Participant must be in the NORVA / NCR area. Secret clearance required. Must have minimum 2 years’ experience performing duties associated with: IT project management, service desk/help desk, customer support or business process analysis and improvement. Has attention to detail, good customer service skills, strong oral and written communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities. Desired experience for a familiarity with automated business processes tools such as ServiceNow or Atlassian (Jira). General cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
