Program summary

A member of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Logistics team supports CISAs efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure. Students will learn the centralized logistics programs that support a diverse mission and workforce that spans the entire nation.

Roles & job description

This role is located the in Arlington/Ballston/NCR. The purpose of the work is to produce insights that illuminate U.S. cyber risk posture and spur action to reduce the threat of espionage and disruption to critical infrastructure and the federal civilian executive branch. The Analyst is responsible for conducting research, compiling, and analyzing data on specific cybersecurity vulnerability and risk developments derived from all-source databases and other sources as appropriate. The work could form the basis for an informational or authoritative assessment or agency position.

Eligibility notes

There are two vacancies for the role. Participant must be in the NORVA / NCR area. TS/SCI required. Minimum of 1 year experience conducting research and producing written materials or analysis, such as reports of research findings, scientific or technical articles, news releases, and periodicals drawing on knowledge of information security principles. Desired experience with analysis, evaluation, interpretation, and dissemination of cybersecurity information pertaining to issues in foreign and domestic areas that directly or indirectly affect national security. Familiarity querying cybersecurity databases and tools such as: Shodan, Censys, tenable, DomainTools, Nmap.
