Information and Logistics Management IT Specialist
Participant must be in the Arlington/Ballston/NCR area. Participant will be joining Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA)/Cyber Security Division (CSD)/Vulnerability Management (VM) Sub-Division/ Business Management (BM) Branch as a member of the Information and Logistics Management (I&LM) team. This team supports CISA’s efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber infrastructure. The service member will participate in a 180-day program where they will improve organizational knowledge sharing and identify areas of standardization and improved tool utilization within VM, and gain hands on experience with knowledge management, presentation and communication, and light coding/development skills.
The service member will be assigned to the Business Management Branch on the Information and Logistics Management Team, working side by side with the I&LM Section Chief and other CISA/CSD/VM employees and leadership to complete the tasks below and others as time and opportunities allow.
Participant must be in the Arlington/Ballston/NCR area. Secret Clearance required. Minimum 1 year experience in fields related to communications and knowledge management. Demonstrated Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem solving abilities. Ability to effectively document processes, procedures, and external reference documentation. Familiar with knowledge management tools (including but not limited to ServiceNow, SharePoint, O365 Suite, etc). Enjoys interacting across groups (internal stakeholder interaction) to come up with effective solutions, performs solution testing, and training. Bonus qualifications: High level coding skills including - knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and . NET Frameworks. Some familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and/or Web Services.
