Program summary

The CEVSS Intern will support student veterans in all aspects of higher education. They will create and foster relationships with regional organizations and businesses thatsupport veterans, assist veterans with college application, including VA benefits, military transcripts, Federal Financial Aid, etc., proactively engage and motivate veteran students to complete courses needed in order to graduate and work with Career Services to help find career opportunities or graduate school opportunities for student veterans preparing to graduate.

Roles & job description

Community and social support/ services. The intern will also gain knowledge of office management.

Target military occupations

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.

This is an intern position working at a 4-year public university in West Virginia. The overall goal of our program is to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for veterans.
