Our agency has experience working with military officials (spouse, children, or veterans) and the civilian population (young adults seeking entry into the workforce, workforce displaced, and career changers).Summary CCME is seeking entry-level to experienced individuals that’s interested in joining our team as maintenance mechanic apprentice. The earn while you learn model gives our apprentice the ability to receives hands-on training under supervision of a experienced journey-worker, while learning skills that are based on the residential, commercial or industrial high demand industry. The apprentice also obtains skills through our related instructions (classroom) that will be applied on-the-job, in some of the following trade areas: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, programming logic controls, and (HVAC) heating-ventilation & air conditioning. Roles & job description

Responsibilities/DutiesComplete routine/emergency work orders in a timely manner and follow safety protocols while performing duties. The mechanic apprentice will provide the following task orders:• Make mechanical repairs to interior apartment dwellings, commercial facilities or mechanical equipment.•Troubleshoot or install electrical fixtures/outlets, other electrical repairs•Plumbing repairs for sink or commode fixtures, repairs to hot water tanks and/or commercial chillers. •Repairs/ installation of home and/or commercial appliances, HVAC services (preventive maintenance, unit re-install or repair, and/or system charging). •Carpentry repairs in the areas of: flooring/carpet repairs or install, door repair/installation, electronic mechanical hardware repair or installation, sheetrock repairs/installation, cabinetry, and minor soldering.•Ensure equipment performs as planned, make repairs to small or large machinery, troubleshooting specific machine parts or an array of equipment.•Perform preventive maintenance schedule for various equipment •Maintain equipment control systems for signs of mechanical deterioration or failure, and utilize diagnostic equipment for observation and to make repairs.

Qualifications/Skills•Must be able to lift 50 lbs•Must be mechanically inclined and like to work with your hands. 
•Must possess good work ethic, positive attitude and willing to learn.•Must be a self starter and work well with others.• Applicants with prior experience as a apprentice or has participated in a pre-apprenticeship are encouraged to apply.

•Must be able to commit to a full-time position.*Transportation is a plus but not required
