Amentum is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver for North of Las Vegas, NV to drive various types of trucks, such as tractor trailer combinations to transport various loads, which may include hazardous materials.
Essential Responsibilities:• Must have the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment and forklifts and to load and unload cargo.• Check vehicles and equipment for correct operation and must be knowledgeable of cargo securement rules to ensure that every load is properly secured before transport.• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers and refuel vehicles as required. Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance of vehicle parking areas.• Travel as required by company.• Other related duties as assigned by the Lead Technician.• Focus on SAFETY.• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
