Business Systems Analyst (Altimeter)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying system requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to implement effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic goals.
This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for system enhancements or new implementationsAnalyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvementTranslate business requirements into functional and technical specificationsWork closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teamsSupport system testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, and validating resultsEnsure solutions meet business needs and comply with organizational standardsProvide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionAssist in change management, including user training and documentationMonitor system performance and recommend improvements

Must Haves:Strong understanding of business processes and system analysis methodologiesExperience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation toolsFamiliarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNice to Haves:Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systemsKnowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI)Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related credentialsExperience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
