A precision ag specialist needs a background knowledge of farming practices in order to plan for sales and services appropriately. They also need a background knowledge of farming equipment as they will complete installs/uninstalls of products.A precision ag specialist must be able to manage time effectively, be self-motivated, and build and maintain positive working relationships with growers and team members. They need to be customer focused and advocate for the customer’s needs. Within the company, a precision ag specialist must clearly communicate with all team members. They are action-oriented people with a results focus. A precision ag specialist is a vital role to the company and the agriculture community needs.
