WCM - SBWCPM Trainee
The SkillBridge Trainee will undergo an immersive training program within the Licensing Administration department at Warner Chappell Production Music (WCPM). This role bridges the gap between military service and the music industry by providing hands-on experience in the music rights, licensing, and financial operations.
Areas of assistance:- Licensing & Contract Administration: Assist in the drafting and full execution of client license agreements. Learn the nuances of music rights and the lifecycle of a synchronization license.- Systems & Technology Integration: Receive specialized training in WMG's proprietary billing system (GLS), as well as industry-standard tools including Google Suite, NetDocuments, Salesforce, Tableau, and AirTable.- Financial Operations & Revenue Management: Support the billing and collections cycle, including the generation of invoices and the tracking of multi-installment payments. Gain experience in revenue reporting for leadership and corporate Finance teams.- Music Supervision & Rights Tracking: Gain exposure to music supervision workflows, including cue sheets, income matching, placement reporting, advertising revenue reporting, installment billing based on client agreements, - Culture & Engagement: Assist in the planning and executing Employee Resource Group (ERG) events and studio visits, developing skills in event management and internal stakeholder communication.
