Network Administrator SkillBridge Intern – Job DutiesNetwork Operations & AdministrationMonitor network performance, availability, and security across VSO's infrastructureConfigure and maintain IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocolsPerform network setup, configuration, and routine maintenance tasksManage and troubleshoot connectivity issues, escalating as needed during supervised phasesNetwork SecurityImplement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and encryptionSupport threat detection and incident response activitiesAssist in maintaining compliance with network security policies and proceduresContribute to disaster recovery planning and executionIncident ManagementOwn and manage network incidents from identification through resolutionLead post-incident reviews and document findings to improve future responseProvide VIP-level support for escalated network issuesMaintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and network changesCloud & Infrastructure IntegrationSupport integration of cloud services (Azure) with on-premises network environmentsParticipate in network expansion projects and cloud migration initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure infrastructure alignmentProject Support & Continuous ImprovementContribute to IT project planning, implementation, and documentationAnalyze network performance metrics and propose operational improvementsManage vendor and customer interfaces related to network resources and inventory
