National security consultant and analyst -- understand and critically consider applications of commercially derived technology against national security usecases.

Roles & job description

Intern will analyze and assess three distinct criteria for commercial technologies related to their application in national security. First, defense need as applied broadly against a holistic understanding of national security needs. Second, technical merit as it extends to the application in a potential defense usecase. Third, commercialization of the company from both a commercial and defense potential for sales and acquisition. Intern will additionally advise companies on the appropriate DoD and national security users of the potential defense useacase technology, prepare written correspondence for the technology company to review, and analyze organizational structures and needs for a large variety of commercial technology applications.
