Program summary

The goal of this internship is to provide the DoD SkillBridge Intern with the training necessary to successfully find employment as a Compliance Examiner with Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle. By leveraging the intern's experience and Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles training, a career with the agency could begin as soon as the intern departs active duty.

Roles & job description

A Compliance Examiner is a highly responsible and independent position within the Bureau of Dealer Services within Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The Compliance Examiner investigates consumer complaints filed against mobile home, recreational vehicle and motor vehicle dealers/dealerships and is responsible for preparing administrative cases to address violations found. The position is tasked with providing consumer protections and public safety by licensing and regulating approximately 15,000 motor vehicle dealers and manufacturers in the State of Florida
