Program summary

Are you passionate about protecting data and systems from cyber threats? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in information security and cyber security? If yes, then this is the opportunity for you. We are looking for motivated and talented individuals who want to join our training and internship program in information security and cyber security. You will work with our experienced and certified professionals and learn the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in the field. You will also have the chance to apply your skills to real-world projects and challenges. This is a paid and full-time position for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on your performance and availability.

Roles & job description

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of information security and cyber security policies, standards, and procedures- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis on various systems and applications- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts, and escalate issues as needed- Research and evaluate emerging threats and trends in the cyber security domain- Participate in security awareness and education initiatives for staff and clients- Document and report on the findings and recommendations of security assessments and auditsQualifications- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related field- A strong interest and aptitude in information security and cyber security- Basic knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices, such as cryptography, network security, web security, malware analysis, etc.- Familiarity with common security tools and frameworks, such as Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP, etc.Benefits• A competitive salary and benefits package• A mentorship and feedback program that will help you grow and develop your career• An opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and technologies that have a positive impact on society• A potential offer of employment based on your performance and availability
