USAF 412 Test Wing, Test Management Directorate - Internship Program
A major portion of the trainee’s experience will be in the actual performance of the duties of a project manager. During the 15- 20 week training program, the trainee will have the opportunity to participate in several types of activities available at multiple organizations at Edwards AFB and will get to experience much of the acquisition and test life cycle, including acquisition of services in support of the AFTC. This will typically be accomplished through rotations at multiple Combined Test Forces.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Test Project Manager (PM) directing or supporting the test activities of DoD funded acquisition, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and commercial test efforts.
