UBC MVP - Industry Recognized (Non-DOL-Registered) Apprenticeship Program (IRAP)
The program is a free 8 week course that trains in the basics of becoming a Millwright. A millwright is in general terms an industrial mechanic. They work on conveyors, turbines, robots, and all types of machinery. Another option is to choose the Interior systems carpentry program. Participants will learn about drywall, metal studs, and acoustical ceiling techniques. At the successful completion of the 8 week program you will be set up with an apprenticeship in the Millwrights or carpentry anywhere in the United States
A career and apprenticeship in the Millwright industry or interior systems industry.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
