Associate Program Manager - Job Training Program
UFA, Inc is operating as an approved DoD SkillBridge Industry Partner. Must be eligible for DoD SkillBridge Program and meet SkillBridge qualifications. We are seeking transitioning military members who are interested in and passionate about growing their skillsets as a Project Manager while working in the air traffic simulation and training technologies industry. • Responsible for requirements gathering from customers and business development team• Support new contract award steps and procedures• Support release planning between PjM’s, PdM’s, and customers• Support project needs in products related meetings• Support discussions regarding new customer installations• Support acceptance tests and onsite installation activities • Assist in task assignment, and monitoring the progress of the Subject Matter Experts (SME) activities• Assist in monitoring and coordinating with project and product managers on all customer-related JIRA’s• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring Project Timelines and Milestones are collected and clarified during project planning• Assist in customer support and test activities for clients• Assist in monitoring and tracking project milestones in relation to internal product development.• Assist, Monitor and track project preparation of training material.• Train, assist, or coordinate training as necessary on applicable products • Conduct administra

In person training will occur in Gaithersburg, Maryland; however, remote training and work will be primary method. Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field• Minimum of 2 years of Project Management or related experience• Proven ability to solve problems creatively• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred• Due to US government security requirements regarding contractors working on Government Programs, successful candidate(S) must be qualified to apply for a Position of Public Trust clearance• Domestic and International travel may be required
