FWS Maintenance Worker
This opportunity is with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) within the Department of the Interior. Maintenance for a national wildlife refuges involves the upkeep of infrastructure, facilities, vehicles, and equipment needed. This could include hvac systems, vehicle maintenance, groundskeeping, road improvements and other duties.
This opportunity is in support of management of the refuge's natural resources, facilities for staff, as well as areas for the benefit of the public. Maintenance can also extend to include management of habitats, control invasive species, and efforts needed for the monitoring of wildlife populations.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
