FWS Visitor Services - internship
This opportunity is with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) within the Department of the Interior.
Representing the National Wildlife Refuge by providing visitor contact by phone, in person, or email, including conveying accurate information; explaining rules and regulations; roving trails with the purpose of speaking to and educating visitors; coordination and collaboration with volunteers, partners and FWS staff. May include researching, developing, and leading public programs; walking and monitoring trails and campgrounds; assisting with education programs; or other.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity has better than average clerical skills with typing skills of at least 40wpm and enjoys interacting with the general public.
Opportunities may be coordinated with field offices across the nation.
