Petroleum Technician - Construction & Contracting
TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Petroleum Technician in the Construction and Contracting Division. Knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. is preferred.
Responsibilities• Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner• Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks• Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements• Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers, as needed• Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properlyQualifications• 2 years’ field experience with petroleum equipment systems is preferred• Experience in construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles• Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems• Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems• Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
